Kozhikode: A family is defiantly challenging the common perception that classical arts are a showcase of money-grubbing state arts festivals. Thrissur Peringotukara Govt. Higher Secondary School Niranjan Sreelakshmi's performance was seen on the Bharatnatyam stage of Thali Samoothiri School.

"She is a movie actress! A smile fills Kamalamma's face as she speaks. Niranjana played the role of Joju George's daughter in the movie Naayat. Opportunities came again. But I could not go because of the preparations for the arts festival - says Kamalamma.

Niranjana's younger brother Manas, a ninth class student, is also a contestant in the arts festival. Kuchupudi and Bharatanatyam are varieties of mind. In the coming days Niranjan will have kuchupudi and folk dance.

Their father and mother take them everywhere. I'm just joining them. Gotta win, that's the goal - now it's all about running and hustling until the 7th. Kamalamma said holding Niranjana."

Mahesh and Sridevi's family who are struggling to live with two children are proud. At the same time, they are struggling not knowing how to pay the debt they had to spend for their art competitions. This genius is also the winner of the national competition 'Kala Utsav' conducted by Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. She was also invited to participate in the Parliament banquet. And so on, it got into debt. Amalnath and Sumesh are the dance teachers now teaching.
